Ran Hwang Makes Amazing Wall Installations Using Buttons and Pins
I don’t know why, but, for the most of time I was little kid I was amazed with the different shapes of colorful buttons my clothes had. The fashion is changing fast and it seems that buttons are slightly becoming the part of history.Ran Hwang is artist, originally from Korea, which makes amazing ‘murals’ made of buttons and pins. From a time to time she uses thread and wire too.
The following photos are featuring some of her best artworks. It is hard not to notice that some of her artworks looks like someone took the can of hundreds of tiny buttons and spilled it over the wall which has been previously smeared with glue.Ran likes to use colorful buttons and her wall installations are really beautiful oasis of colorful button. She says that her artworks require a lot of patience while doing repetitive manual work.
